The Korea National Committee of INWEPF would like to invite you to the INWEPF and ICID joint Workshop to be held in Korea on 1-3, July, 2007.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Republic of Korea and International Network for Water and Ecosystem in Paddy field are going to organize the INWEPF and ICID WG-SDTA joint workshop on "Sustainable Paddy Farming in Asian Monsoon Region": Productivity in paddy in reclaimed tidal area, bio diversity and disaster prevention.

This workshop is organized by KRC (Korea Rural Community and Agriculture Corporation) and Korea National Committee of INWEPF and supported by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

INWEPF & ICID WG-SDTA joint workshop

The theme of the workshop is Sustainable Paddy Farming in Asian Monsoon Region with three sub themes; Productivity in paddy in reclaimed tidal area, bio diversity and disaster prevention

July 1-3, 2007.Rural Research Institute, Republic of Korea

Expected Participants

Government bodies, International organizations, NGOs and speakers for the sessions can attend the workshop and the entire program.

Language

All the presentation will be conducted in English.

Cost of expenses
Accommodation and airfare just for speakers in the workshop can be borne by Korean committee. For Participation of 4th INEPF steering meeting via Korea workshop, round tickets will be provided except accommodation during the Korea visit. The expenses for a delegate of each country excluding Japan and Thailand can be covered by host countries (Korea, Thailand)
