Easing import controls introduced in response to the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station of Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) in Malaysia(July 1)

The Malaysian Government decided to require only certificates of product areas in importing products from all prefectures in Japan from July 1.

However, food products harvested and processed in 8 prefectures of Fukushima, Gunma, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Miyagi, Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba are required total lot inspection in Malaysia.
