Response to Emergency - Radionuclides in Foods after the Nuclear Power Plant Accident

This site contains slides explaining how MAFF responded to the contamination of foods by radionuclides following the accident of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. The slides also explain the basis of regulatory values established by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. The slides were prepared for and presented at the Technical Workshop on Chemical Risk Analysis in the Food Chain (Beijing, China, 13-16 March 2013) organized by WHO (GEMS/Food) and FAO.
