  Research activities meeting demands from administrative offices of the Ministry

Every year, the institute sets policy research topics under sufficient collabaration and coordination with related administrative offices and carries out research and studies necessary for policy making and international nagetiations.

 Basic and leading research

The institute carries out the following basic and leading research, by using its expertise and knowledge, aiming at making highly academic achievements.

1. Mid- and long-term policy topics assuming the forthcoming policy development, as well as topics providing for the future

2. Analytical studies of the movements in other countries and their policies and the development/improvement of econometric models and analytical approaches, in order to provide theoretical grounds for policy making and proposals in international negotiations

3. Research on methodologies for promoting agricultural, forestry and fishery policies
