FY2008 Policy Research Issues and Implementation Structure

The PRIMAFF conducts policy-related research and studies on domestic and international situations on foods and agriculture, forestry and fishery industries as well as rural communities, in order to assist the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to plan policies which will contribute to the development of Japan’s agriculture, forestry and fishery industries.

PRIMAFF, in collaboration with relevant policy departments in the Ministry is conducting research projects ranging from the establishment of research issues and the development of research plans to the finalization of the results, under the new group/team system.
