Exporting Meat and Meat Products for Personal Use
Bringing Hen Eggs, Beef, Pork and their Meat Products into Singapore from Japan
Japanese hen eggs, beef, pork and their meat products can be brought from Japan to Singapore as hand luggage for personal consumption. Leaflet(PDF : 958KB)
Export conditions:
- Maximum 5kg per person (Beef, Pork and their Meat Products)
- Maximum 30eggs per person(Hen Eggs)
- For personal consumption (Hen Eggs, Beef and their Products)
- Products commercially sold in Japan (Hen Eggs, Beef and their Products)
- Products made from/of Japanese hen and/or beef (*There are some areas from which Singapore restricts the import of food close and around the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant.)
- Products directly bring into Singapore as personal baggage (Pork and their Products)
For Hen eggs, it is necessary to check the acceptance status in Singapore.

Export inspection at Animal Quarantine Service:
- For products with carry-on certificates(PDF:87KB), an inspection at Animal Quarantine Service is not required. You can bring the products to Singapore without export quarantine procedures.
- For products without carry-on certificates(PDF:87KB), please visit an office of Animal Quarantine Service with the products before your departure from Japan. Animal Quarantine Officers check labelling, etc. to identify whether the products fulfill the export conditions, and issue carry-on certificates.
