72 Seasons
This is the time that sparrows begin to make their nests. Living alongside fields and populated areas, sparrows have been the most familiar small bird to the Japanese since ancient times. On the other hand, scarecrows and noisemakers are often installed on agricultural land, since they can also cause damage to crops. Today there are fewer opportunities to see the figure of sparrows in the city, and they may end up becoming a part of a nostalgic landscape along with the scarecrow.
