What is the BUZZ MAFF?

Appearance of the first government official YouTubers in Kasumigaseki!

This is a project in which officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries act as a YouTuber on the Ministry’s official YouTube channel, utilize their own skills and display their originality, regardless of their ordinary duties, in order to send out information on the merits of agricultural, forestry and fishery products of Japan and the attractiveness of farming, mountain and fishing villages in the country.

The person with a basketball is the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the honorary head editor of the BUZZ MAFF. “いいね (iine)” is used the same way on Japanese YouTube as “like” is on English YouTube.

Transmit information on Japan’s agriculture, forestry and fisheries to the world.

The BUZZ MAFF was launched in January 2020.
We offer a selection of videos with English subtitles to people around the world.
If you enjoyed these videos, don’t forget to like them.
