The copyright of the information written/shared on the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) website (hereinafter referred to as “contents”) belong to the MAFF, unless otherwise stated, and contents without a copyright marking may be used under the provisions stipulated in the Public Data License (Version 1.0) (external website) (PDL1.0).

1) Source citation

2) No infringement of third party rights
a. As for graphics data such as pictures, the user must contact the department in charge of each contents to confirm the terms and conditions, since Third Party holds rights in most cases.

c. For information on links to websites other than the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries website, the terms of use of the respective ministries and research institutions that operate those linked sites shall apply.

Please feel free to establish a link to the MAFF website from your own website. Please be aware that the information or contents included in our website may be amended or deleted without notice.
