What MIDORI∞INFINITY is about ?

Initiative for Net-zero compatiable with Food security through INternational expantion of Innovative TechnologY (MIDORI∞INFINITY) aims to facilitate climate investment to the agriculture, forestry, and food sector and expand market opportunities. This initiative showcases GHG emission reduction technologies and initiatives that contribute to food security and measures for promoting technologies overseas including the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM). This initiative can also contribute to leading the discussion at the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in November this year, where agriculture and forestry are expected to be the main topics of discussion. We aim to contribute to achieving the NDCs goals of Japan and partner countries by the issuance of carbon credits through the implementation of JCM and other measures.
