Cutting-edge Wood Products in Japan
Since 2005, Forestry Agency promoting the “Kizukai (due care to wood use)” movement as a national campaign for the enhancement of consumers’ awareness on the importance of wood use. The movement emphasizes that wood use is a part of cycle of sustainable forest management through harvesting, using, planning and growing.
As one of Kizukai movement, Forestry Agency supports “Wood Design Award”, which acknowledges outstanding wood products and relativities that contribute to the promotion of comfortable life, human health, and social prosperity from the perspective of consumers.
