Characteristics

Miyazaki Beef is marbled beef that has subtle sweetness and rich aroma when put it in the mouth. The quality is attributed to the efforts made by the production area. Miyazaki Beef was awarded 3 consecutive times at the National Wagyu Competition (2007, 2012, 2017). .

Link with the Production Area

Miyazaki Prefecture has thrived raising beef calves, and in 1959, the Prefecture began expanding the production of beef and set the feeding standard to organize the integrated production system. In 1972, Miyazaki Prefecture established unified control system of Prefecture’s sires for the first time in the country. This production control system is called as “Miyazaki-Method”.
