Minister Sakamoto meets with Secretary General of ASEAN Secretariat （May 24）

The Japanese Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sakamoto met with H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary General of ASEAN Secretariat on May 24, 2024.
During the meeting, Minister Sakamoto expressed his wish to contribute to building resilient and sustainable agriculture and food systems in the ASEAN region based on the "ASEAN-Japan MIDORI Cooperation Plan" and exchanged views on cooperation between Japan and ASEAN in the field of agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
