Overview

What is GFP?

GFP is an abbreviation of Global Farmers / Fishermen / Foresters / Food Manufacturers Project, and is an export project for Japanese agricultural, forestry and fishery products and food promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

On August 31, 2018, the GFP community site was launched to support and coordinate producers, businesses, and others who are willing to proactively engage in the export of agricultural, forestry and fishery products and food. For members registered on the website, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries assesses their export potential to provide necessary support.
