Miso Poteto (Miso potatoes) | Our Regional Cuisines

RECIPE

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • Potatoes 400g
  • Flour 30g
  • Frying oil appropriate quantity
  • 【Seasoning】Miso paste 30g
  • 【Seasoning】Sugar 30g
  • 【Seasoning】Sake 1 tsp.
  • 【Seasoning】Mirin containing alcohol 1 tsp.
  • 【Seasoning】Water 1 tbsp.

How to cook

  • 1. Chop potatoes into pieces and soak them in water.

  • 2. Combine flour and water to make a thin batter. Drain the potatoes and coat them with the batter.

  • 3. Heat the oil to 180°C and fry the potatoes.

  • 4. Combine all the seasonings and reduce to make the sauce.

  • 5. Drizzle the sauce over the potatoes from step 3.
