RECIPE
Ingredients (for 100g Perilla seeds)
- Perilla seeds 100g
- Dried baby sardines (shirasu) 50g
- [A] Soy sauce 20cc
- [A] Sake 50cc
- Mirin(=sweet rice wine) A little
How to cook

1. Gently pluck perilla seeds from the stems, briefly boil them, then rinse them in water. Drain them well using a sieve.

2. In a pot, bring [A] (soy sauce and sake) to a boil, add the perilla seeds, and simmer until the liquid is almost gone. Add mirin(=sweet rice wine) to finish.
