Gappara-mochi | Our Regional Cuisines

RECIPE
Ingredients (8-10 servings, amount for one frying pan)
- Rice 300g
- Wheat flour 50g
- Brown sugar 100g
- Water 100ml
- Black sesame seeds 2tsp.
- Salt A pinch
- Vegetable oil A little
How to cook

1. Lightly mash the rice in a mortar.

2. Add flour, brown sugar, water, black sesame seeds, and salt to the lightly mashed rice and mix further.

3. Add a small amount of vegetable oil to the heated frying pan and spread it evenly. Then, add the mashed rice mixture from step 2 and shape it into circle.

4. Grill slowly over low heat until browned on both sides.

5. Cut into 8 to 10 radial pieces.
