Tarashi-Yaki | Our Regional Cuisines

RECIPE

Ingredients (10 pancakes)

  • Wheat flour 400g
  • Water 480cc
  • Miso 40g
  • ‘Shakushi-na’ pickles 240g
  • Seasoning As needed
  • Rice oil 4 tbsp.

How to cook

  • 1. Finely chop ‘Shakushi-na’ pickles. Fry them and season lightly.

  • 2. Disolve miso with water in a bowl, then add wheat flour to make dough.

  • 3. Add fried ‘Shakushi-na’ pickles to 2, and mix them.

  • 4. Heat a pan and spread oil on it. Bake dough the size you like.
