A:Quarantine inspections are not required when leaving Japan; however, please note that when returning to Japan, you will not be allowed to bring your monkey from regions of prohibited importation. There are some countries where the import of monkeys from abroad is prohibited.

A:Please confirm them at the embassy of your destination country in Tokyo or with the quarantine authorities of that country.

Q: When I confirmed the entry requirements, I was told that I would need a health certificate issued by the Japanese government agency. How can I obtain it?

A:If your monkey receives an inspection at the Animal Quarantine Station at the time of your departure from Japan, you will receive an Export Inspection Certificate issued by the Japanese government agency.

Q: I will be traveling from one foreign country to another. Will I be able to take my monkey with me?

A:It is possible to take monkeys abroad, but they must undergo post-entry quarantine in every country.
