Entry into Japan - Birds -
A quarantine inspection will be required for chickens, ducks, turkeys, pheasant, ostrich, guinea fowl, quail and geese that are brought into Japan when entering from a foreign country. They will be subject to an inspection in detention.
Animal quarantine inspections are not required upon arrival in Japan for other birds (e.g. ohm, parakeet, myna, pigeon, and ricebird) that you bring from abroad.
