1 Import InspectionQ:Will my Rat & mice(Squirrels or ferret) have to undergo an import quarantine inspection upon arrival in Japan? A:Animal quarantine inspections are not required upon arrival in Japan for them. But there are restrictions by other ministries, please see following web pages.
2 Requirements for entry into the destination countryQ:When I called to confirm the requirements for entry into the destination country, I was told that I will need to have a health certificate issued by the Japanese government agency. What sort of documents are these? A:You will be given an Export quarantine Certificate when the quarantine inspection is completed at the time of departure. This certificate will work as a health certificate. A:Please confirm with the embassies of each country in Tokyo or an Animal Quarantine Authorities in the destination country.
